Looked beautiful and tasted great. The smokiness of it went well with this soup. -  The cumin and smoked paprika give it excellent flavor. It was by far the best lentil soup ever. Quickly add the oil and the onion - make sure the cumin and chilli flakes don't burn when you add the oil - cook for 8 to 10 minutes. This is an amazing soup.

I think it works, and I try to use products that are readily available at most supermarkets, so that everyone else’s result will be the same as mine.
